Sylvanian Families Clothes DIY

Hello! Today I made some clothes and clothes hangers for my sylvanians! In this post I will show you how to make some baby shorts and a clothes hanger. --- Note: the dress I made was using nzemily's really easy tutorial on her blog. I will add the link below.

                                                           Baby Shorts

To make the baby shorts you will need:  Felt, Scissors, A ruler, Thread and needle (You can also use a sewing machine).

Firstly, measure the felt so it is 4cm wide (for a crawling baby) - cut it out once you have done that.

After that, fold the material in half and mark 2cm. This should be marked where both sides of the felt meet, so you will have the folded part at the bottom.

Now, draw a template. Make sure that you still have the folded part facing towards you.

Cut only where you have drawn the lines.

After cutting the template out sew along the edges (leaving about 0.5cm from each side of the middle). This is a bit tricky with a machine.

Finally, fold it inside out! (You may want to trim the edges before you do - it makes it a bit easier).

And here you have it! A really cute and easy baby's shorts!

This DIY is extremely easy to make - you only need a paperclip!

Step 1. You could also use a coloured paperclip to make it a coloured hanger!

Step 2.  Pull out the smaller part in the middle.
Step 3. Pull it out until you get this shape.

Now just slide in the clothing and you are finished!
